It is allowed? Or is it an abomination?

In this tract we examine what the Bible really teaches about homosexuality and lesbianism.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman; It is abomination.
The movement of homosexuals has been very strong over the years. Today, there are two attacks by homosexuals: (1) that homosexuality is not a sin, and (2) that they admit it is a sin but deny God and his authority to rule in their lives. In this booklet, I will clarify some issues related to homosexuals. In general, my comments are addressed to both homosexuality and lesbianism, but for being brief, I will use the term homosexuality as a concept that captures the two.
What is a Sodomite?
The argument of those who are gay or who are gay-friendly people is simply that the Bible is not clear about this practice, and that Sodom’s account is about the sin of missing hospitality, and this sin caused both the wrath of God, it wasn’t homosexuality (according to them). They take the word “sodomite” as a male priest of a pagan religion (the goddess of fertility), and not as a homosexual.
Deu. 23:17 There is no harlot among the daughters of Israel, nor is there sodomite among the sons of Israel.
The concept of “sodomite” is proposed to be somewhat parallel to a harlot, that is, a male prostitute who has male clients. Being sodomite is not coming from the place of Sodom, but it is a practice of people from wherever they are (1 Kings 14:24; 15.12; 22:46; 2 Kings 23: 7). The concept of harlot or prostitute was associated with women who lend their bodies sexually to earn money for their temple. Although this is not the only concept of harlot (there are others who live on it or for simple taste), the religious was part of the concept. In the temple of the goddess of sex, the Aphrodite, there were at one time 10,000 women (priests) serving in such a temple making sex to support him.
It is important to understand that this religion was a religion of “feeling good.” Their concept was that having sex was the most of “feeling good,” and then they engaged in sex. It was not just sex, because banquets, alcohol, drugs, fun, etc. entered the same religion as other forms of “feeling good.” But religion itself is primarily a sex worship, as we see today with homosexuals and prostitutes (as with the pornography industry). It is not to be denied that they had sex with women. These people are people who have dedicated their lives to sex and worship with all their soul, body and spirit to sex. They are parallel to those who live on sex (prostitutes). The difference is very little.
Job 36:13-14 But hypocrites at heart treasure anger for themselves, and will not cry when he binds them. 14 Their soul will die in their youth, And their life among the sodomites.
The concept came to have the idea of a person rejected from society because of their perverse and vile habits, and these habits were involved with their worship of sex. Keil and Delitzsch add the idea that they are a type of person who refuses to remember their sins before God, being arrogant, proud, and rebellious, and therefore bring God’s wrath upon them.
Job here (Job 36:14) compares the hypocrites with the sodomites, who because of their rejection of society as perverse, are arrogant and out of God’s mercy, and are people who God will cut their lives in their youth for the reason of his perversions.
In Sodom (Genesis 19: 5 “Take them out so that we may know them”, and in Judges 19:22 “Take out the man who has entered into your house, that we may know him.”), The sin they did was to strain man with a man sexually. It is very difficult to twist the story to be another sin. God does not destroy entire cities for lack of courtesy. If so, there was no city left today.
The word “know” is used in the Bible for sex (Gen 4:17, 25; 38:26; etc.) (Genesis 4: 1, “Adam knew his wife Eve”). In the same context as Sodom (Genesis 19), Lot offered his two daughters, who “have not known a man.” In both passages, the Bible uses the same word, (yada). The idea is to know or have an intimate relationship with another person. In some contexts, it is obviously used to have sex (the most intimate thing to know).
In 1 Timothy 1:10, the word “sodomite” is [avrsenokoi, thj]. This word means an adult man who has sex with another adult man, or a child or a youth. The idea is to sleep with a woman to have sex, but instead of a man with a woman, it is a male person with a male person.
1 Kings 14:24 There were also sodomites on earth, and they did according to all the abominations of the nations that Jehovah had cast before the children of Israel.
Then clearly the sin of sodomite is to have a sexual relationship with another person of the same gender (sex), be it man with man, or woman with woman (Romans 1:26 That is why God delivered them to shameful passions; for even their wives changed the natural use for which it is against nature,) (lesbianism). The practice of homosexuality (and lesbianism) is clearly condemned in the Bible.
Is homosexuality a sin and an abomination? Yes.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman; It is abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 If any man should be with man as with woman, they did abomination; both must be killed; upon them will be his blood.
Simply two people of the same sex having sex with each other is an abomination to the Lord. In the Old Testament, this behavior deserved the death penalty (that God is extremely angry with this). It is not a preference in life but an abomination. God made two sexes, male and female, and sexual activity is prohibited if it is not between two people of the opposite sex (and married to each other).
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not err; neither the fornicators, nor the idolaters, nor the adulterers, nor the effeminate ones, nor those who are cast with men, 10… they will not inherit the kingdom of God.
The idea here is clearly a man who lies down to have sex with another man.
Romans 1:26-28 That is why God gave them up to shameful passions; for even their women changed the natural use for which it is against nature, 27 and in the same way also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, ignited in their lasciviousness with each other, committing shameful deeds men with men, and receiving in themselves the retribution due to their loss. 28 And since they did not approve of taking God into account, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do things that do not agree;
Paul identified here two serious, and horrible sins that are abominations before God, and these sins are lesbianism and homosexuality. No one should have doubt in this matter that it is a sin and it is an abomination before God. Many people do not understand why God destroyed the inhabitants of the earth before Israel. It was not because Israel was so good, but because the sins and sodomy of these countries were disgusting and abominable. RVG
The Pornography
In Revelation 21: 8, God declares that several different types have their place in the lake of fire, and mentioned “the fornicators.” The word is porns, which according to Strongs is “1) a man who prostitutes his body to fulfill the desire of another for payment, 2) a male prostitute, 3) a man who seeks and participates in sex, fornicator.” It is another word (see 1Tim 1:10 for the first) for the person who engages in illicit sex. I say “illicit” but to the truth, God sees as idolatry if one is engaged in sex, nor if it is with his partner in his marriage or an illicit relationship. There are couples who have left God behind and adore sex even as a couple, here we must understand whatever we put above God is idolatry. Sex between a married couple is not a sin (Hebrews 13:4)
The interesting thing here is that the concept of “fornicator” is to seek and exalt sex. The word is used 10 times (1Co. 5: 9; 6: 9; Eph 5: 5; 1 Tim 1:10; Heb. 12:16; 13: 4; Rev. 21: 8; 22:15) in the New Testament. In 1 Timothy 1:10 the concept is used with sodomites. A sodomite is a man with a man, but a fornicator is someone who exalts sex. The two are very similar, and a sodomite is a type of fornicator.
The Homosexual Character
Ezekiel 16:49 Behold, this was the evil of Sodom your sister: pride, satiety of bread, and abundance of idleness she and her daughters had; and did not strengthen the hand of the afflicted and the needy.
There is a character that goes hand in hand with the worship of sex, and especially with abnormal sex, which is against nature (a man with a man, or a woman with a woman). This perverse character is to be superb. There are individuals who get into this, but do not understand that pride, arrogance, and boldness of their lives has been produced through sinful practice and behavior that reject God’s authority in their lives. These people are under the wrath of God, and very hard are freed from their sin to know God’s salvation. What is the “badge” to lock them in the condemnation and wrath of God is their refusal to admit that their conduct and practice is sinful. Sex is a practice that is like a drug, which creates physical dependencies in the body, which is very difficult to refuse and stop once it has begun. Only by the way that God has indicated (a man having sex with his wife) can this sin be corrected and resisted.
God’s solution
The solution to homosexuality is first to see it as a sin, then repent of it, and then seek what God commands us, a man married to his wife until death do them part.
