Catholicism is a works salvation system which had at one time an affinity towards Christianity, but as it grew it transmorphed into a monster which still uses Christian lingo but has picked up all kinds of paganism which are very far from Christianity. It outright denies and breaks with Christianity at most every venue.

This religion is very simply paganism mixed and covered with a light dose of Christian trappings. They say they worship Christ and God, but in reality, they exalt Mary about Christ, the Father, and the Trinity. They make God submissive to the “Mother of God” as those she gave birth to the Godhead, Jesus, Father, and Holy Spirit. Although they would deny that, their worship of Mary is very clearly, “She is the Mother of God”, and therefore God has to be submissive to “his mother”. Besides the fact that women were never to be in a ruling position, the entire concept is unbiblical.

It is also steeped in spiritualism, and most Catholics are hidden spiritualists which are constantly wanting to go into the mystic side of things with appearances of Mary being miracles and providing divine healings in the process.

Their system of priests, bishops, archbishops, and the pope is blatantly unbiblical and against the autonomy of each individual local church. The priestly celebrations like the Mass is unbiblical also because they bring Christ down from heaven at every Mass, believing that the waver and wine actually become the body and Christ again.

According to this false religion, salvation is gained by works, or means of grace which are the sacraments. As they participate in various sacraments, they “earn grace towards their salvation”. This is not what Paul taught in Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The system is heathen and putrid. No Bible believer should ever fall into this religion.
