These tracts deal with the false prophet in the Bible. A false prophet is a minister of Satan, to do the work of Satan. Since Satan is the father of lies, and he is the Deceiver, his demons and human ministers follow this same line of deception. This makes them very difficult to discern and protect yourself from their spiritual harm.

Note that to understand, discern, and fight against the false prophet, there are various areas that enter into this work. Firstly, understanding the attributes of God are necessary, because Satan is the polar opposite of God. You recognize Satan’s ministers because they are not like Christ. They are typically, cruel, without sympathy for the flock, and focus on externals like money, fame, control, and physical property considerations over spiritual consideration. At some point, the biblical understanding crosses lines. By that I mean, we cannot understand the good without addressing the abuse of the good.
In the following tract, I examine the “successful” (by worldly standards) ministries of the false prophet and the deceived pastors and people that follow them and their form of ministry. This is a contrast between what God’s will is and how man manipulates God’s will, in the name of being spiritual, to do Satan’s will.
A lot of my tracts under the Church category address the correct and the incorrect way to govern a church, what it should be, or should not be. See Category Church.

This is a new category, but I have been studying and preaching on this topic for a good while now. Over the last 3 years, I have been studying this theme intensively, so I finally decided to make it into a tract category, so this page is a consequence of that decision. Look here in the future as I post more tracts on this theme. Note that in my study notes, I have about 40 topics worked up as notes that I will be making sermons and tracts from if the Lord permits. I have already written a good number of articles over on theologicalsystems.com (my site), and I will add links to these articles below.

We can make a very long list of false prophets, and miss a lot of them, or incorrectly assign some people, churches, or movements as false prophets, so I am not worried about making an exhaustive list. But there are some personalities and movements that people seem enamored with that are just wrong. Within this area, there are a lot of false, wrong, unbiblical thoughts and ministries among good groups. I, personally, am a Fundamental independent Baptist pastor and missionary. (What is a “fundamentalist” biblically considered) Yet I have a long list of wrong ministry practices that are common among my own group. Nobody is free from biblical examination. So those that I am listing below are simply ones that I have studied, usually as a pastor dealing with a church member who has questions about that particular movement or person.
