Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. God created the world and the universe, including all the things in them, including spiritual things like angels, demons, etc. Why is it so difficult to accept that God is the Creator? We should not overlook what this statement means, its implications.
If God created something, then He is the Owner and the “God” over it, that is, He can decide the disposition of it. God as Creator has the right and authority to command this thing and control it, demand obedience and worship from it. If we talk about a stone, no problem. If we talk about my personal life, many do not want to accept this statement.

Why does it matter so much?
First, it is important because it helps us understand how the world works. God made the world with a design that relates one thing to another amongst itself, and with relationships to spiritual things. For example, animals and humans need oxygen to live, and plants expire (breathe out) this oxygen for their functions of living. In turn, plants need carbon dioxide to exist, and this is what animals and humans breathe out. These symbiotic systems (interleaving one another) only become by design and one Designer, God. Note: Nowadays, they say that carbon dioxide is bad, but ignoring the science of this system that God made, they want to remove a part, and the whole system is going to be damaged and come crashing down upon us.
God sustains the universe and our planet by systems that He has imposed on our world. We have already seen that… Psalms 100:3 Know that the Lord he is God; it is He that made us, and not we ourselves ; We are his people and the sheep of his pasture. God demands that we “RECOGNIZE” God for who He is. He is our Creator and Maker, and God DEMANDS this recognition amongst us.
God is greater than us
Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding.
One conclusion of the statement that God created the world is that God is greater than us, which is to say, God is stronger, more powerful, and more wonderful than human beings. We owe God our worship and praise.
Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power, and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
In a way, we can’t win anything from God. He is smarter, wiser, and stronger and more powerful than we are. In another way, it is a great advantage to “have the ear” of such a talented and powerful being.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create evil (adversity). I the Lord who does all these things.
That is, the good (James 1:17) and the bad, both come from God. So, do not angry God against you!
God imposes our condition on us
Exodus 10:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. 22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. Jeremiah 13:16 Give glory to the LORD your God, before he causes darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
God has all the forces of the universe under His control, and He can manipulate or command them at will in anything at any time. We must worship him then!
Luke 8:25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
You have an obligation to respect and honor God for who He is, the all-powerful Supreme Being.
We must Obey and Worship Him
Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth…
Because God is the Lord or Master of all (this comes from God as Creator) then we must honor him for his power and dominion.
Nehemiah 9:6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
The correct reaction that God made us is to worship Him. But so many times we see the opposite, they despise God, and they don’t have time for God.
How do we worship God?
- What God says and wants is our highest priority. You see this because we listen and learn more and more about God. We are interested in God and his thinking.
- We are hungry to know more about God, and to know what God is like. We do not worship God by ignoring Him. The person who truly worships God is studying his Bible, going to a good church that explains the things of God well.
- Our resources and lives are mostly dedicated to God and the things of God. Where you spend most of your time and money is a good indication if you worship God or not. It is one thing that you take by force your salary from your job because “IT IS YOURS” and nobody can tell you how to spend it, and it is another thing that you spend your salary how God wants you to spend it. Many people spend it on amusements and pleasures, and not on essential things that please God.
Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
Part of recognizing the Creator as your God is seeing the ways and thinking of Him and doing things the way He pleases. Our spirit must be meek and humble if we want to find the pleasure of our God.
God created all things
Ephesians 3:9… God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. Hebrews 3:4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God
We have to ask, why do they still doubt what the Bible says when it is so clear that God created the world?
Colossians 1:16 For by him (Jesus Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
That is, not only that God created everything and everything is self-subsisting, but God created, and God is also maintaining creation with his will and power.
Genesis 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Evolution is the theory that there are no species, or “kind”, but everything is liquid and moving from one kind to another kind. After many generations, cats are still cats, and dogs are still dogs. Although within what is a cat or a dog, there is cross-breeding, the cat remains a cat, and the dog remains a dog. The Bible states plainly that this is not how God made us, nor the animal life on the planet.
Noah’s Ark
Genesis 7:15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
In should be clear that in God’s setting of boundaries and limits, that God commanded people and animals to be male and female, and it is essential to have one of both for species reproduction, but only two cats or two dogs was necessary to continue the species. God placed variety within the original animal species. God paraded the animals before Adam so he could name them. So, there were divisions between the species, but variation within the species. The genetic material within any animal or person is such that many different variations can come from one specimen.
The Evolution and Evolution of God
Psalms 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
We must understand that evolution is a supposedly false theory of science. True science is composed of statements of rules that come out from the current observation of our world. Evolution lacks current examples.
First, there are no beings in transition from one species to another. Science is based on observations, and if there is nothing to observe, it is just speculation. There are also no traces of this, and evolution is not happening now or before now. Evidence from fossils is not in layers as evolutionists claim to be. Sometimes a single fossil crosses paths of land that represent billions of years.
So, if evolution does not observe the principles of science, nor does it have scientific evidence to observe and analyze, why does it exist? It exists because it explains how we came to exist but with an explanation that leaves God out of everything.
Theistic evolution is a mixed bag. First, in creating the false theory of evolution, they removed God from all creation or even being a consideration. Then some so-called Christians try to put God back in the situation by saying that God used evolution to create. It is ridiculous what they want.
The Maker of Job
Job 36:3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
The concept of justice is what is right and right, the right thing to do. God wants us to live within the concepts that He imposes, flowing from His divine character. For example, the loyalty of a man to a woman in marriage until death separates them. If we live this, we honor God. But it is more of doing it so that God does not punish us. It is because God has imposed this rule, and it is fair, it is as it should be. This is how we worship God.
