Is it Biblical to Tithe?

Tithe: Is Giving a tithe a NT Obligation?

There are people who attack the work of God from without, and there are those who attack the work of God from within. The two most critical points of God’s work which have been seriously attacked from within is the role of pastor in taking care of the church, and the economic sustaining of the church. If convince the ministers to work a secular job to support themselves (see 1Cor 9:14; Mat 10:10; Gal 6:5; 1Tim 5:17) then you will cause an economic poverty within the work of God, basically making it impossible for ministers to accomplish anything more than just keeping their doors open.

There are groups who wish to “free” or unlink the tithe from being a NT Christian’s obligation. If we accept their arguments for a moment, then this means that God doesn’t want his children to support the work of God? What is the biblical alternative? This makes no sense that good Christians don’t want to support the work of God. The rejection of the tithe for the NT Christian has to be a teaching of the devil.

salv11 Valuing your Salvation

salvation

Salv11 Valuing your Salvation is a tract about how you need to estimate highly Jesus Christ and your salvation through him if you are really to be saved. We are saved by grace which God gives to us through our faith in Jesus the Savior. We are not saved by works. But also, the truly saved will love and highly esteem (place high priorities on the things of God) if they are truly saved.

Catholicism and Ecumenism supporting error

https://www.breitbart.com/faith/2019/11/15/pope-francis-again-welcomes-grand-imam-of-al-azhar-to-vatican/

By David Cox

Summary: Catholicism and Ecumenism examines how the Catholic Church is using Ecumenism to deceive other religions to unite with them in some way. TOPICS: What is Ecumenism? | A Change of Tactics | There is only one doctrine given to us from God and the Apostles | The Ecumenical Tactic | Our Biblical Attitude towards Falsehood

[cat17] v1 © 2019 www.folletosytratados.com/
This tract can be photocopied and printed freely

Ezequiel 13:10 Yes, because they deceived my people, saying: Peace, there being no peace ; …

Jeremiah 6:14 And they heal the wound of my people with lightness, saying: Peace, peace; And there is no peace.

There are many groups that call for peace between different religions in the world. They want to see a union between religions, and they want Christianity to recognize and work with other religious groups opposed to true Christianity. Ecumenism is attentive towards forming this union for religious peace, and simply ecumenism is to take steps to unite our beliefs with other groups to make an amalgamation between all groups.

Marks of a Good Father Fathers that please God

At times men think that they are very good fathers, when in reality they are not. It is not as you think that counts but rather what God has said about the matter. So we should explain what it is that makes a man a good father in the eyes of God. His relationship with God is going to cause the man to conduct himself well with his wife, and also with his children.

ch23 Paying the Pastor

Paying the Pastor

What is our obligation toward the Pastor?
By David Cox
[ch23] v1 ©2006 www.coxtracts.com

_______________

If the pastor takes care of the flock of God, who takes care of the pastor? Any pastor of animals lives of his work with them. This is not a hobby, and neither should the representative of God have to “work nights” in order to pay the rent and eat.

Our pastor fights against false doctrine, and at times has to rebuke individuals in the church for their sin. When these individuals are the principal tithers, there is a conflict that tempts him or makes it very difficult for him to do his job well. It is the entire church’s obligation to constantly support him well if we want him to go after the sins that beset us. When some get mad and leave, we that remain faithful must sacrifice the more. It is our burden just as much as the pastor’s to advance the cause of Christ in our church, under the direction of our pastor. This is a clear sign of our faithfulness to God. Continue reading

“Pastor, I am going to get a divorce”
Considerations before getting a divorce

At times there are people that have so many problems in their marriage and for good or bad, they are firmly decided in getting a divorce. This tract is a presentation of things to think about before going forward, or better said, pastoral advice to avoid the problems a divorce will cause.

In this tract, I, as a pastor, will present answers and arguments that I have heard from people at these crossroads, and hopefully it will be of help to people who are honest and humble enough to accept good advice rather than being bull-headed and doing their own will no matter what spiritual and emotional damage it causes.

salv21 There is no Salvation without Love

There is no Salvation without Love

1John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

John declares that, according to God, every true Christian will love. He that loves “is born of God”, and the person that does not love does not know God as his Savior. It is interesting to think that love is a requirement for salvation, but in actually it is. We need to understand what is love, and how it is integral to our salvation. We have to identify the means that God has put in our lives to create, grow, deepen, form, and boast our love.
