John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Many people have the mistaken idea that they themselves are the ones who decide whether their unborn children live or are aborted (ending the life of that fetus). In reality, this is a satanic deception, seeing that the only person who has the right to decide to end a life or allow it to continue is God, and any other action in respect to this is simply murder. The word of God is very clear, an abortion is a murder, so for this reason, it is an abomination in God’s eyes. Many people perhaps are not in agreement with this, because they have the false idea that THEY are who decide what happens in their own body and what happen to that life inside them, but at the end of the day, the person who have the last say over our lives is God.

What is abortion?
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by chemical or mechanical methods. There exist such things as a spontaneous abortion, which is the natural process which happens in the make-up of the woman in some cases, or in the baby in cases of malformation of the fetus, or can happen because of an unplanned accident, or for the malformed progress of the baby, but this is never planned by the parents, and if the parents try to abort the baby by “a planned accident,” this is therefore considered as a crime. On the other hand, abortion, that is commonly known as “induced,” is nothing else than simple murder. Normally the mother “decides”, and often for economic reasons, moral reasons, or simply because she doesn’t feel “prepared”, so she ends the life of her unborn child and usually she goes to someplace (an abortion clinic) to help her with this procedure.
Every year more than 500,000 people are murdered in this manner around the world. Sometimes babies are aborted even a few weeks before their natural birth. Sometimes the baby’s life is ended even though the baby has been recently “aborted” or born. This is even worse, because there are cases where these little ones only 6 months into development have survived the abortion and are alive outside of their mother’s womb. They are born anyway and are perfectly capable of surviving, and they are normal. In this tract, we will not mention the savage methods that they use in this demonic practice, but it is certain that those people that do not see an abortion for the reality that it is, a cruel murder in cold blood, most certainly they are people “Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good” (2 Timothy 3:3) It is sad that our society is wrong, and it sees this practice as something perfectly acceptable, considering it as “the right of every woman” to decide regarding their own body.
Is Abortion ever justifiable?
The fact that today in our society, in science, and in people’s thoughts has advanced to the point in which abortion is seen as perfectly normal and acceptable, does not mean that God permits it. Many argue that the Old Testament has few mentions of abortions, so they don’t consider it to be a sin unless the mother dies during the process. Exodus 21:22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life. Really, what has happened is that these people do not consider the context enough. In this passage, what it is legislating is that abortion happens because of an accident. In the first place, in that situation then, they did not use technological methods with which they actually ended the baby’s life, and in the second place, only deplorable people and extreme sinners would consider doing acts so abominable against their own children.[1]
What does this mean? The answer is simple: even though society and men justify the abortion, and they don’t consider it a horrendous crime, for God, it is an abomination. Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
Can we do whatever we want to do with our own bodies?
Now then, we also are deceived regarding the idea that one can decide such things over their own body. In reality, if we think through this, no human being has that power or right over their own body, since from the moment of conception, the mother cannot decide what her baby will be, what will be its size or birth before it is born. This is true. Because the artificial means exist that one changes their appearance even “a little”, and surely there are manufactured artifacts that can help the function of one of his members or correct the functioning of a member of his body, but nevertheless, God is who determines our form as if we were clay pots. Romans 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? Let us be sincere, can we rebuke God over anything? He formed us, and thus what is the work of his hands does not have that right to rebuke God for how He made the thing. Isaiah 29:16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? Let’s make something very clear. God has made us. God is the Creator of all of us, and He has formed us from the womb of our mothers. Psalms 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
We are human beings from the moment of Conception
Precisely this passage (Psalm 139:13-16) shows that since a person is formed in the maternal womb, God is already working in that person’s life. What is very important to understand is that at the moment that the human being is conceived he has a consciousness of God and the world around him. In Luke 1:39-44, when Mary visited Elizabeth, John the Baptist, who according to Luke’s account, was grown only 6 months from conception, and that unborn baby had a consciousness of the physical and spiritual things around him, and perceived the visit of Mary, pregnant with Jesus Christ. Luke 1:44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. That is to say, even being a fetus, John was joyous, and this happened after the baby had been conceived, so since the moment that God formed him and determined what he was to be, so he was a human being from conception.
The Plan of God: Life
The Word of God is very clear concerning this: He wants us to have life: John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
In one moving passage, the love that God has for us, the work of His hands, is shown and seems to indicate that our mothers have understood the ability to decide life or death over their children: Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Something we should have clear in our minds is that God is who gives life, Isaiah 66:9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth and shut the womb? saith thy God. In light of this passage, we should ask ourselves, are we so wise and powerful that we should stop a birth, a life given by God?
Children are a Blessing of God
Since antiquity, to have children has been considered as a blessing of God, and for this reason it has likewise been seen that the death of an infant has been an abomination. Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Thus, when God loves us and blesses us, He give us children. Deuteronomy 7:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: 13 And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 14 Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing cast their young (abortions), nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. To have children is a blessing.
On the other hand, to not have children is a curse: Hosea 9:14 Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. Spontaneous abortion is a curse. Voluntary abortion is a sin, an abomination, that deserves hell.
The Decision of life is not ours: It is God’s
One thing that should be very clear is that the only person who has the right to take away a life is God: 1 Samuel 2:6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. Deuteronomy 32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. It is for this reason that we do not have the right to decide if an unborn baby should be born or not. Simply put, it is something that does not correspond to us, and moreover, God commands us “Do not kill” Exodus 20:13. If we abort a baby, we are taking the place of God and are going to receive divine judgment on ourselves: Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Abortion is a sin in the eyes of God. We wish that everyone that is at the point of having a child would remember that children are a blessing of God: Genesis 25:21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
[1] We should simply remember that God condemned the to death the parents who would offer their children as human sacrifice to the false God of Moloch (Leviticus 18:21; 20:1-5; Jeremiah 32:35). For God it was an abomination.
