Is Benny Hinn a great man of God filled with faith, gifted with the powers of healing and doing miracles or is he a false prophet? Well the truth is that he is no man of God, because every true man of God obeys the will of God, and follows the Word of God. Hinn was pastor of the church, “Orlando Christian Center” in Orlando, Florida, and later pastored “World Outreach Church” and after that “Faith World Church” when he launched himself into evangelism. Actually, he is the source and spokesman for the Word of Faith movement. Hinn takes in 100 million dollars a year, and lives in a $3.5 million dollar mansion, and stays in $2000/night hotels. He wrote “Good morning Holy Spirit,” which was very popular and sold 250,000 copies in the first two months.

Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Prov 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Muslims believe both in the Bible and the book of the Koran. But if Muslims believe that both are the inspired Word of God, then there are problems to resolve. How can we accept that Allah is the same as the God revealed in the Bible if he gave both inspired books, and they contradict themselves.

Within the Bible, there is a perfection in which the Bible has no errors, no imperfections, no contradictions. We can trust the truth of the Bible because God has secured its purity. We do not see that with the Koran.

Actually this position of believing that both the Koran and Bible as our divine authorities simply cannot be. Either the Bible is God’s authority or the Koran is, but both cannot be true if they contradict themselves. Muslims say the Bible is corrupted, but they do not allow the thought that the Koran is the corrupted one here. The Koran contradicts itself.

Voodoo is a belief and practice that really comes from Catholicism, mixing Christianity with African religions. They worship objects from the land, rivers, woods, etc. Catholicism, supposedly, is based in the Holy Scriptures of the Bible, but Catholicism was formed by taking beliefs and practices from paganism, and changing the names of pagan gods and persons, and using in their place names from the Bible. If a Greek god, Zeus, is called “God” (theos), that does not make him the God of the Bible. What they have is barbaric. Many practice voodoo yet still consider themselves “good Catholics,” and voodoo does not hinder their “Catholicism”. Voodoo is involved with magic, mediums, and necromancy, all which are highly condemned in the Bible. (In Cuba and other places, it is called “Santeria” and in Brazil, “Candomblé”.)

1 Timothy 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

What is a man of God? Even though many people today speak of being a “Christian” or “saved”, there are very few that want to be identified as “a man of God.” To be a man of God clearly identifies the person and his life as “belonging to God”, as something important.

It means that this man has turned his life over to God. It means that he now is not his own, but rather he totally recognizes his Redeemer as his Lord. This is not a little thing, but every saved man should be a man of God.

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
