Ezek 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: [and] not that he should return from his ways, and live?

Calvinism is a theological system that distorts the concepts of God, salvation, and man and denies that God has offered divine mercy to sinners, if they would only respond to it. It tries to enclose God in a will without taking into account that by divine decree, God has also given man a will, for which he is responsible. John Calvin was a “protestant pope” with his own secret police, and practiced the execution of heretics. He burned Michael Servetus at the stake for doctrinal differences with Calvin. Calvin wanted Servetus to say “the Son of the eternal God,“ but Servetus would only say, “the eternal Son.” Calvin did not have the spirit of a saved man, but was cruel, evil, and extremist. Titus 3:10 says that we should reject a heretic, not burn him, and Calvin’s actions make him a murder (1Pet 4:15; Rev 21:8 “murderers… shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death”). Calvin believed in the baptism of infants for their salvation, likewise in the sacraments as works that communicate or give grace to the unsaved (good works). Are these the marks of true man of God? ch43 Time to leave your church?

When is it time to leave your church?

Phil 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.

Every good Christian will have a serious relationship with a group of brethren (a local church) of the same faith and practice that you have, and if you have incorporated yourself into their activities and fellowship, leaving will be difficult, and it should be. Your reasons for leaving should be taken because of definite events, attitudes, practices, or doctrines in that church that make you feel that you are “not the same as they are”, that they do not have the same love of Christ as you, because they do not follow Christ according to Scripture (in teachings, doctrine, practices, attitudes, etc), there is a rupture between you that forces your physical separation from that group. You should first try to examine your own spirit, to see if you are wrong, then talk with leaders in the church group to try and resolve the problem. After prayer, no resolution, you need to go to the pastor or leaders and tell them you are troubled, and will seek another church. Continue reading

No man or woman in this dispensation will enter the celestial kingdom of God without the permission of Joseph Smith… Every man and woman has to have the certificate of Joseph Smith Jr as his passport to enter… I will not go there without his permission… He will reign as a supreme being in his sphere, capacity, and calling, as God does in heaven. Acts 2:17 I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flash, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy… 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in tose days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.

(Many use this verse as the basis for women preaching, but the verse says nothing about to whom they will minister, to mixed groups or groups of only women.)

The Assemblies of God have 4,000 ordained and licensed women. The United Methodist Church began ordaining women in 1954, and today has 4,743. The Presbyterian Church (USA) has 2,419 leaders. In 1979 this church made it a requirement of their congregations to ordain women to these leadership positions over the church. Moreover they force the disqualification of any minister among them that opposes the ordination of women. The United Church of Christ has 1803 female leaders. Women today compose a third of seminaries students across the board, and in Harvard and Yale seminaries they are half of the students.

( This data is for groups in the United Status. In all the United Status, women compose about 8% of all in the ministry.) Continue reading

bs01 Principles of Interpretation of Holy Scripture

Principles of Interpretation of
Holy Scripture

There are principles from God that guide us as to how we are to interpret the Bible. We have to observe these so that we can understand Scripture as God wants. Cults and groups with unbiblical doctrines and practices always try to twist these principles for their viewpoints, but we must insist on observing them, and they will guide us to the truth of God. Hermeneutics (principles of interpretation) are what give structure and form to the Word of God, understanding and clarity of communication so that we truly understand well the Word of God. Phil 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Modern psychology treats the “psyche” of man, which they define as existing but without observations nor definitions from actual science. But in that, psychology has been recognized as a science even though its conclusions, bases, and methods cannot be confirmed nor denied through science (in other words it is ALL unproven theories).

Perhaps one of the principle points in psychology is the exaltation of the human image itself (his psyche or person), or self-esteem. Modern psychology’s principal trust is to simply emphasize the need for self exaltation.

Whatever thing seems to lower one’s view of one’s self is a “sin” in psychology. Their remedy to all problems is to understand that “you are not so bad”, and “the guilt lies with others”, i.e. raise self-esteem. Continue reading

cult12 – The Bible vs Koran

The Bible vs Koran

Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Prov 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Muslims believe both in the Bible and the book of the Koran. But if Muslims believe that both are the inspired Word of God, then there are problems to resolve. How can we accept that Allah is the same as the God revealed in the Bible if he gave both inspired books, and they contradict themselves.

Within the Bible, there is a perfection in which the Bible has no errors, no imperfections, no contradictions. We can trust the truth of the Bible because God has secured its purity. We do not see that with the Koran.

Actually this position of believing that both the Koran and Bible as our divine authorities simply cannot be. Either the Bible is God’s authority or the Koran is, but both cannot be true if they contradict themselves. Muslims say the Bible is corrupted, but they do not allow the thought that the Koran is the corrupted one here. The Koran contradicts itself.

* All quotes beginning with “Sura” are from the Koran. Continue reading

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. Luke 6:49

Jesus proposed the concept of fundamentalism, that there are certain essential parts of the Scriptures (biblical beliefs) that in erring on them it would result in the perdition of everything, even your soul in hell and your salvation. Continue reading

Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. Psa 105:15

Today it is very popular that ministers use this saying “don’t touch the Anointed of God” to protect themselves. They also often use Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. This implies that any member or other person should not examine that minister’s personal life, his doctrine, or obvious sins. Continue reading
